The natural selection can be described as the survival of the fittest. In this project I study the mechanism of the natural selection inspired by the fish eggs. Female salmon lies up to 6000 eggs but only one in 10 survives to hatch. What if this principle was initiated in an object form?
This project is a commentary that focuses on the life span, vitality and decay of an object that is designed to die. The fragile material eventually dissolves in water and is meant to underline the temporality of things, and the disgusting practise of planned obsolescence.
